God remembered the promises he had made to this very special family, who were now a large group of people and began his plan to rescue them from Egypt. Who will save the Israelites from Pharaoh?
They cried out to God for help.
The Israelite slaves were still being treated badly.
Back in Egypt, the old Pharaoh died and a new Pharaoh took the throne.
One of the women was named Zipporah who later became Moses’ wife and they had a son together named Gershom.
When the women went home they told their father Reuel what had happened, he welcomed Moses into his home.
He chased off the shepherds and then collected water for the women’s animals.
